He married while living in Japan and, before moving to [[Anywhere City]], joined the [[Yakuza in 2D Universe|Yakuza]] and earned an extensive criminal record. He is wanted by [[:wp:Interpol|Interpol]] for extortion, gun running, drug smuggling, and running prostitution rings. His [[Anywhere City Police Department]] record suggests that he may be the father of [[Johnny Zoo]], the Anywhere City leader of the Yakuza. His wife died in [[1995]] in a charity store bombing. By the events of GTA 2, he is an elderly man being kept alive by narcotics produced by [[The Zaibatsu Corporation]], a rival to the Yakuza.
