His name is based of Sex Pistols singer with the same name.Also in GTA 1969 London one of the protagonist that you could choose is called Sid Vacant,Sid Vacant's is based of the late bassist of Sex Pistols Sid Vicious and his last name "Vacant" is probably based of the Sex Pistol's song "Pretty Vacant".
