Beryl is a fictional character in the HD Universe who is mentioned in Grand Theft Auto V.
Character history
Beryl was a supporting character in the 1973 Richards Majestic film Rum Runner. She is a Los Santos resident during prohibition and is later paralysed by Eddie Olson while he was drink driving. The two start a relationship despite the accident and him being a high profile alcohol smuggler. She later gives Eddie an ultimatum, to stay with her or to continue with his life as a smuggler. Beryl, however, is killed by a rival smuggler, which results in Eddie moving to Vice City where he gives up his life of crime and becomes an insurance agent.
