A glitch allows the player riding as a passenger in a car in co-op mode to use any weapon in a drive-by. First, the player that will ride as a passenger will have to waste all of their SMG ammo. Then they will have to switch to their weapon of choice and get into the car. Then, entering in any weapon cheat will allow the player to use whatever weapon was in the current slot. (If the player has a pistol, and uses the cheat that gives them the [[Desert Eagle]], they will be using the Desert Eagle, not the pistol) You cannot drive-by with melee, projectiles, heavy weapons, of sniper rifles. | |||

Recruit a gang member and get into a car. As soon as they are about to enter the car, press the "exit car" button and hold the up button on the d-pad. If done correctly, the gang member will sit in the passenger seat for a few seconds, then get out, get back in, and take control of the car. However, sometimes, after they get back in, they will get right back out, and go hang around with some other gang members. This won't happen if the player uses the "recruit anyone" cheat and does this with a random pedestrian. (If the player gives someone control of an aircraft, they will just sit in place) | |||
