Due to [[Giovanni Ancelotti|Don Ancelotti's]] age (78), Chubby Charlie often represents the Ancelottis at meetings of [[the Commission]]. After skipping bail on racketeering charges Matteo went into hiding in Alderney. He is killed by [[Niko Bellic]] in the mission [[Trespass]] after he discovers [[Phil Bell|Phil Bell's]] involvement in the sabotage of a cocaine deal between the Ancelottis and [[Russian Mafiya]]. Bell asks Niko to take out Matteo before he can report his discovery to the Commission.
